| Kathie sent in these photos of a knit top she embroidered with the Fleur de Lis for the 5x7 hoop design. Kathie wrote: "I had to email you pictures of my project and tell you how well it came out. I thought I’d take a chance on embroidering the 5x7 on a knit shirt, b/c I didn’t have a lot invested in the shirt. I have to tell you the design came out a lot softer than I expected it to. I used 2 pieces of soft stabilizers and I used a silver colored embroidery thread in the bobbin, as well as top stitch. I was very pleased with the look. I added a little sparkle with crystals and I have a perfect gift for my sister. I love it so much I plan to make me one. My sister will love it." |
